Simply put, MudLOVE uses ceramic products to love others.

We believe in using MudLOVE as a tool. Through teamwork, systems, processes, and creativity, we make products that spread love, encouragement and support. The most tangible way that MudLOVE shows love is by donating a portion of each product sold to help people in need of clean drinking water and educating people on the global crisis, through Water for Good. 

We believe ALL are equal and worthy of LOVE. We will take an inclusive stand to love all and welcome all without judgement or exception. We will not produce products that spread messages of hate, or that exclude or degrade. 

We believe in our community. We empower our community by giving them products that can be used in countless ways in the world. Whether it is to show love, support a cause, raise money for an organization, provide encouragement, etc., we are happy to entrust our brand to our customers, who have continually represented MudLOVE well.

We believe in resourcefulness. We will continually look for ways to operate within a lean manufacturing process, seeking to eliminate waste by making improvements, repurposing unused materials, and most importantly providing the tools and support employees need to do their job successfully.

We believe in handmade + ethical sourcing. MudLOVE will seek to support other small businesses in our supply chain and source our materials that make a positive impact on the world. Acquiring materials that negatively affect people’s lives or lack ethical business practices will not be used. Our ceramic products will always be produced by hand.

We believe in creative people.  MudLOVE was founded by an artist, and is co-owned by another artist, through marriage. We believe art has the power to change the world.  We will support other creators through collaboration and partnerships when possible.  We encourage and support “competition” and the pursuit of employees on their own artistic journey.

We believe in thoughtful responsiveness. We will create opportunities to be a symbol of hope and encouragement in the midst and in the aftermath of brokenness. The gift of a bracelet or a mug is small, but the gesture of a MudLOVE gift is powerful.  We believe that the thoughtfulness behind a tangible gift can be a gentle reminder of love with a huge impact on one’s heart.  It’s not just the thought that counts, it’s the action taken behind the thought that matters most.

MudLOVE will not affiliate with religious or political organizations. MudLOVE will avoid taking stances that align with political parties or religious entities for the sake of non-exclusivity with our employees and the customers we serve. Outside of our central partnership with Water for Good, we will not donate fiscally to any other organization.
