About the campaign
At Riley, a heavy emphasis is placed upon research since medicine is ever-changing. Donations are needed for research to be completed and lives to be saved. These monetary donations to Riley allow them to find ways to continuously save more children.
As seniors in high school, we, Kate Gauer and Megan Pendergast, are completing the Learn and Earn DECA chapter project this year. DECA is a career and technical student organization designed to prepare emerging leaders for various careers in the business world. However, it is much more than that. From being involved in DECA and implementing business applications, we are able to reach out to our community to make a difference in people’s lives.
The goal for this year’s project is to raise money and spread awareness in our inner and broader communities for Riley Children’s Hospital. If we can make a difference in just one child’s life, that will be worth it for us. These bracelets are a means of doing so; the proceeds made from these bracelets will go directly to Riley Children’s Hospital, allowing them to help even more children than they already do.
We would like to thank all of you for supporting Riley Children’s Hospital by purchasing a bracelet. We are forever grateful for your generosity and willingness to donate. Without the help of you, our supporters, we would not be able to participate in finding a life-changing cure.
By buying a bracelet and donating to Riley, you are helping many children; you might just save their lives. Riley has been “For the Kids” since 1924, and now it’s our time to be, “For the Kids”!
