About the campaign
The men all had the same response upon coming home: we have to help. Hope 2 Liberia was officially recognized as a not-for-profit entity in May of 2010. Land was purchased in Marshall in early 2011, which today is the site of our Hope Center, a multi-purpose facility used to house teams, provide residency for Liberian team members, and host group events for training and teaching. In 2015, a school, Hope Academy, was built on this land providing much needed education to children in the area.
Today, Hope 2 Liberia continues to grow our vision of providing hope to the people of Liberia. Safe water systems, education via the Hope Academy, leadership training, medical clinics, seminars to train teachers, helping orphanages, and providing jobs are just a few of the ways Hope 2 Liberia is serving this war torn country. This is our story, our history. We desire to provide true HOPE by helping the Liberians sustain their life through both safe and living water. We are now accountable because we have witnessed their suffering.
This is just the beginning. We hope you will be a part of the next chapter to Water the Thirsty.
