My sweet friend Joyell (called Joy by those who love her) is battling breast cancer. As my daughter's 4th grade teacher, Joy made a profound impact on her life. My daughter, now aged 18, is autistic. Joy encouraged her to pursue the things that she loves, and always told her to dream big! All money raised through this campaign will help Joy with the cost of radiation treatment and two more surgeries.

About the campaign
Joyell is a wife, mother, daughter, teacher, and friend! She was diagnosed with breast cancer in the summer of 2016 and has already undergone surgery and 6 rounds of chemotherapy. Joyell carries her family's medical insurance and has had to continue to work in order for them to still have health care.
Joy's oldest son has Type 1 Diabetes, and she fears not being able to provide the daily life-saving medical supplies that he needs. Any day that Joyell misses work, she misses out on pay, and it causes a great deal of financial stress.
Joyell has made a tremendous difference in the lives of so many people, including many individuals with special needs! She LOVES teaching and pushes each one of her students to become the individual that she knows that they can be!
Please help us bless Joyell and her family during this difficult time. The immediate future holds 6 weeks of radiation and 2 additional surgeries. We would love to help alleviate the financial burden of the medical bills that are rolling in.
