Welcome back to MudFOLK where we learn about the people behind the mud. Meet Zoe. Designer, web developer, marketer, and creative director, she wears LOTS of hats.
Zoe stepped into her role as Creative Director recently but has been part of MudLOVE for the past four years. And she's absolutely crushed it. She brought a fresh look to our website and leads our marketing charge. So let's dive in and learn a little more about this talented member of our team.
What do you wish we knew about your job?
My job is awesome, that’s what I want people to know. You should all be jealous. But really, I think the coolest thing about what I do here at MudLOVE that I don’t think is obvious is that we do all our design and marketing in-house. It’s a little “inside baseball” but I think it gives us a kind of grassroots influence on the company and direct contact with our customers which is awesome. It’s a little team, but we work hard to show off all the truly fantastic things going on here in the studio.
You're doing a great job! If you could describe your MudLOVE superpower, what would it be?
I could go with some kind of illusion magic, but those are usually villains, so maybe not casting me in the best light. I have to keep up with a bunch of projects, due dates, tasks and deadlines so I’d say some kind of…levitation. Keeping everything in the air, all at once. I guess that’s just being a juggler, but you know what? That’s kind of a superpower too.
Juggling is totally a superpower. What’s that one thing you’re really into right now?
It’s no secret around the office, I’m a huge RPG nerd. I run two Dungeons and Dragons campaigns regularly and can’t get enough of it. It’s a great way to keep my creativity fresh, drawing maps and characters for my players and making up creepy/fun/excellent stories for my friends. Any second I’m not doing my task levitation magic, you’ll find me hurriedly jotting down good ideas for my campaigns. And if you ever want your ears talked right off of your head, ask me what’s up in Flatworld lately.
Count us in for your next campaign. What’s your favorite MudLOVE product?
